It was the time where I decide to become more English.....hence the title, and the picture. The colours look inviting enough, the smells too... everything were freshly cooked. If you were there, you could see the chips were still alive (true story)
Similar to most English dishes, this one is no exception when it comes to the taste. I have to say that my tongue is highly trained for any kind of taste, nevertheless, it failed to stimulate any of the almost 10 000 taste buds in my mouth. It was so dry, tasteless, and...........ENGLISH.
